The Escoural Cave is a national treasure that invites you to travel back in time!

Discovered accidentally in 1963. The Escoural Cave is a time capsule to another era, when Neanderthal man used it as a shelter. Later, Homo Sapiens left his mark through impressive cave paintings, transforming this cavity into a veritable prehistoric sanctuary 50,000 years in the making.

Dive into the depths of history and witness the passage of time in this unique cave, where the walls hold millennia of traces of human occupation.

The cave can only be visited by prior appointment, preferably 24 hours or more in advance.
