The Legend of Our Lady of Livramento:
Legend has it that Senhora do Livramento and São Brissos had a son, but the latter was betrayed by Senhora das Neves. In years of drought, the locals transport the image of Nossa Senhora do Livramento to the Church of São Brissos, placing it with its back turned to the saint, her ex-lover, leaving her son in the chapel.
