PR08 - Largos Campos de São Cristóvão

Jardim Público is the starting point for the route heading north. Turn right along Rua do Carrascal. At the end of this take the dirt track to the left. At the junction, turn right, cross the stream and continue between the cork oak forest and open fields where you can see a water reservoir. At the end of the straight, turn right again, continuing through dehesa scenery. At the second crossroads, turn right until you come to
an area of villa plots and olive groves. Pass these plots, take the access road to the village, turn right and continue between traditional olive groves. Go over the road bridge over the stream and see the wash-house, drinking fountain and fountain. Keep going until you reach the urban area of the village, turning right onto Tv. da Indústria and then the third left onto Rua 1.º de Dezembro, to the Public Garden.
