A 16th-century hermitage in the Manueline-Mudejar style, the interior has 18th-century tile panels depicting the life of Mary. In the sacristy, there is a collection of around two hundred ex-votos - painted altarpieces, photographs, wax body parts, ribbons and two embalmed animals (a boa constrictor and an alligator) - the oldest of which dates from 1799.

The novena to Our Lady of the Visitation takes place every year between the end of June and the beginning of July.
