Montemor-o-Novo
Its construction began in the early 16th century. It was occupied by a community of Dominican nuns until the end of the 18th century. In the 19th century, the Asilo Montemorense da Infância Desvalida was set up here. In 2000 it became the headquarters of Espaço do Tempo, created by choreographer Rui Horta. The City Council's Archaeology and Heritage Service also worked here. This monument is currently awaiting rehabilitation work that will allow public access to this place of great artistic and historical interest.
